During a horrific altercation inside their Washington State home last week, a married couple stabbed, shot, and ultimately killed one another while their 11-year-old son played video games in a separate room.
According to officials, the youngster was wearing headphones on Halloween while his parents were “assaulting each other.” It wasn’t until he discovered their bodies that he realized what had transpired.
Who was the main aggressor in the deaths that occurred on October 31 in Longview, a city on the Washington side of the Columbia River approximately 50 miles east of Portland, Oregon, is unknown to investigators.
Juan Antonio Alvarado Saenz, 38, and Cecilia Robles Ochoa, 39, were named as the victims.
Robles Ochoa was shot and stabbed, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office, while Alvarado Saenz died from numerous chest stab wounds, according to police.
When the youngster discovered his parents bleeding on the kitchen floor, he dialed 911.

At the time, he was the only other person living in the house. EMTs attempted to revive the pair but were unable.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives have now discovered that Robles Ochoa and Alvarado Saenz “had relationship issues and intended to separate.”
From the site, a gun and one knife were found.
“It is confirmed that the firearm used in the incident was stolen from Alvarado Saenz’s employer and was not found to be missing until after this incident,” the sheriff stated.
