WPBN: Over the Black Friday weekend in Ventura County, a large-scale retail theft bust resulted in the arrest of 23 people.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office reports that the multi-day blitz was held in the Camarillo Premium Outlets between November 29 and December 1.
Officers found methamphetamine, burglary tools used in the thefts, and approximately $9,000 worth of stolen stuff. The following people were named as suspects:

Retail theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of stolen items, endangerment of children, possession of drug paraphernalia, grand theft, and other accusations led to the arrest of the big group of suspects.
According to authorities, one couple, Jesus Edgar Rodriguez Lopez and Blanca Maribel Rodriguez Barrios, are also charged with child endangerment for putting their one-month-old kid in danger during the theft.
According to officials, Lance Yaines and Crystal Ghourgoianfor, a second couple, are facing similar allegations related to their 8-year-old child.
After receiving shoplifting citations, the three male adolescents were later given to family members.
Detectives from several Ventura County agencies make in the Ventura County Organized Retail Theft Task Force, which is dedicated to preventing organized retail theft, cargo theft, and theft of vehicles or auto parts.

“The task force aims to provide a safe environment for everyone while working hand in hand with retailers, law enforcement agencies and the public to identify, locate and arrest the criminals involved in these types of crimes,” the sheriff’s department stated.
