Trump's Legal Woes Escalate as Another Threatening Package Sent to Prosecutor's Office!

Two top law enforcement officials said Wednesday that a letter with white powder was sent to the office of the Manhattan district attorney who is pursuing former President Donald Trump.

The most recent package, which was sent to prosecutor Alvin Bragg, had a letter inside that used an expletive to talk about Bragg’s weight and some powder that the police said was not dangerous.

The envelope also had a picture of Bragg and Trump, the people said. As a safety measure, New York cops were called to the mailroom of the office in lower Manhattan.

More information about the apparent threat was not released right away.

This was the second time in the past few weeks that white powder was sent to Bragg.

In March, a letter was sent to Bragg’s office with a death threat and white powder.

The letter said, “ALVIN: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

A top law enforcement official at the time said that Bragg had been threatened “several hundred” times. A source said that a couple of dozen were seen as direct threats of major harm.

On April 4, Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records connected to his role in hush money payments made toward the end of the 2016 presidential campaign.

In a statement of facts, Bragg’s office said that Trump had “repeatedly and fraudulently” changed the records to hide bad news from voters.

Trump has called the case “fake” and said that the only crime he committed was “to fearlessly defend our nation from those who want to destroy it.”
