Governor Ron DeSantis has ordered that business gas stations in Southeast Florida get an extra 500,000 gallons of gas, for a total of 1 million gallons.
This is because of the flooding in Broward County, which caused gas stations to run out of gas.
Before, 500,000 gallons were sent to sites in Southeast Florida by the State Emergency Response Team.
At 1:45 p.m., 47.8% of gas stores in Miami and Fort Lauderdale told Gas Buddy that they were out of gas. 26.7% of people in West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce said they were out of gas, too.
