GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Onawa Satori Moore, who is 42 years old, was arrested and charged with an aggravated attack with a dangerous weapon yesterday. She is said to have tried to hurt or kill the father of her children by throwing a wrench at him.
An Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a complaint regarding domestic violence at around 1:40 p.m. and discovered that Moore had followed the victim to a location where she thought he was seeing another woman. Moore was arrested for the domestic assault.
Moore and the victim got into an argument, after which the victim turned his back on Moore and started walking away from her.
It is said that Onawa hurled an adjustable wrench at him, but instead, it struck the bonnet of a vehicle, creating numerous massive dents in the metal. According to the testimony of a witness, Onawa was overheard telling the deputy, “I hate you” and “I will kill you.”
Moore is said to have acknowledged after going through Miranda that she threw the wrench to harm the victim because she was furious that he walked away from her and she wanted him to stay with her.
Moore has been convicted of ten misdemeanors, most of which were driving violations. On the weekends, bail information cannot be obtained.
