Two individuals from Kansas have been indicted separately by the federal government on counts pertaining to meth and fentanyl trafficking in the Sunflower State.
Horace R. Wright, 40, of Pittsburg was indicted by a federal grand jury in Wichita on charges of cocaine trafficking and firearms offenses, according to a statement released by the U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas on Wednesday, February 21.
Wright was charged, according to court documents, with one count each of possessing meth and fentanyl with the intent to distribute, as well as one count of using a firearm to promote a narcotics trafficking offense.
Additionally on Wednesday, Raul Delgado-Sanchez, 32, of Wichita was charged with charges related to his own drug trafficking offenses, according to the DA’s Office.
Delgado-Sanchez was charged with one count of meth distribution, one count of meth possession with intent to distribute, and one count of unlawful firearm possession, according to court records.
In either case, there are currently no scheduled court appearances.
