Miami Woman in Custody Over Alleged Illegal Cosmetic Work

According to authorities, a South Florida woman was detained after it was alleged that she was doing cosmetic operations without a license, including lip fillers and Botox injections.

According to documents, 29-year-old Angelina Andreoli was detained on Thursday on suspicion of using a communications device without authorization, practicing medicine without a license, and practicing a health care profession without a license.

An arrest record states that Andreoli was operating an unlicensed cosmetic enhancement business out of a health clinic in the 1800 block of Northwest 22nd Street, according to information provided to Miami Police’s Narcotics Unit.

On Thursday, an undercover investigator made an appointment at the center for Botox injections and lip fillers. When the investigator came and completed the forms, Andreoli was placed under “doctor name,” according to the report.

According to the complaint, Andreoli summoned the detective to a back room where she provided her with a consultation regarding the injections and lip fillers, outlining the various parts of her face where she would receive Botox injections.

When the detective signaled for Andreoli to “take down,” tactical cops arrived and placed Andreoli under arrest, according to the report, and Andreoli started preparing for the process.

The study stated that Andreoli does not have a license to practice medicine in Florida, based on a review of his records.

Miami Gardens resident Andreoli was placed under arrest and given a $5,000 bond when she showed up in court on Friday.
