Tragedy Strikes Pennsylvania Linen Company 2 Killed, 3 Injured in Shooting

Authorities in Chester, Pennsylvania, west of Philadelphia, said that a workplace shooting occurred on Wednesday that left two individuals dead and three more injured and hospitalized.

As per Chester Police Commissioner Steven Gretsky, an arrest has been made in the neighboring city of Trainer.

Wednesday morning, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer revealed, a shooting had taken place at Delaware County Linen.

During a press conference, Stollsteimer stated that the suspect “took out his anger” on coworkers after showing up to the office brandishing a gun.

The Gun Violence Archive reports that in the first five months of this year alone, there have been at least 168 mass shootings nationwide. Mass shootings are defined by the nonprofit organization and CNN as incidents in which four or more people are shot.

According to Chester Mayor Stefan Roots, the suspect is a “disgruntled employee, a current employee” of the company. “It talks about guns in America.” “It must end; it is tragic and heartbreaking.”
