On Tuesday, June 11, a lady was taken into custody in connection with the twin baby deaths that occurred in southern West Virginia back in February.
Olivia Moore, 30, was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 11th, on two charges of neglecting a child that resulted in death. Ava and Amina Johnson, the girls, were two years old.
The twins were discovered dead with foam coming from their mouths when troopers responded to reports of unresponsive twin newborns in Raleigh County on February 28, according to the criminal complaint.
According to troopers, Moore relocated the twins from a bedroom in the back to a couch in the living room before to the arrival of law enforcement. Following their security of the area, West Virginia State Police officers got in touch with the Crime area Team to begin processing the scene.
The Bradley Volunteer Fire Department checked the house for carbon monoxide, but the results were negative.

While the crime scene team was processing the site, Moore was interviewed by a trooper at the West Virginia State Police Beckley detachment.
Moore said in the criminal complaint that she had been watching the twins both that morning and the night before. Moore informed troopers during the interview that the twins seemed strange at around 2:00 a.m., but they were still alive.
The investigating trooper noted ethanol and fentanyl intoxication, along with carfentanil (an opioid 100 times more potent than fentanyl and used to tranquilize large zoo animals like elephants), acetylfentanyl, lidocane, quinine, and diphenhydramine intoxication when they received the death certificates for the babies.
On Monday, June 10, troopers contacted Moore and asked to meet. On Tuesday, June 11, after yet another questioning, Moore was taken into custody.
