The United States of America lacks a healthcare system, which makes it difficult for many citizens to deal with any health problems they may have.
Because of this, various welfare programs are established in an effort to mitigate the effects of the absence of a free healthcare system.
California’s Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal, offers health care to individuals of any age who satisfy specific financial eligibility conditions.
While there are a number of methods to be eligible for Medi-Cal, the focus of this section is mainly on those people who are also eligible for Medicare, namely those who are disabled or over a particular age. “Dual eligibles” or “Medi-Medis” are those who meet the requirements for both Medicare and full Medi-Cal.
Qualifications for eligibility
Californians who work but are disabled can get assistance through the 250% California Working Disabled (CWD) program. A California legislation permits you to receive complete Medi-Cal coverage with no monthly cost if you are eligible as of July 1, 2022.
