Pino hired several groups of hitmen with contracts to kill his estranged wife Tatiana, according to the FBI. The couple has been involved in acrimonious divorce procedures since 2022.
According to US Attorney Markenzy Lapointe, agents were authorized to take Pino into custody on a probable cause arrest on Tuesday when they arrived at his Coral Gables home.

According to investigators, Pino remained resolute in his aim to kill his wife even after the first crew was exposed and he was already under investigation. He employed a second team, which consisted of Fausto Villar, who worked on Pino’s roof.
For $150,000, it was agreed to shoot her to death, provided she passed away before the next divorce hearing. In the event that Pino was unrelated to the crime, Villar would receive an additional $150,000.
Authorities claim that Tatiana managed to get back inside just before the crime was supposed to happen, and her adult daughter managed to leave.
According to Lapointe, the gunman chose not to shoot her since it was not part of the contract or job description.
