Florida Man Receives 3-Year Sentence After No Contest Plea in Child Sex Abuse Case

Osceola County allegations of child sex abuse resulted in a 24-year-old man entering a plea of not guilty, which landed him three years in prison.

Recorded in court, Ryan Doak received his sentence on Friday, July 12. Doak has been sentenced to ten years of probation after being imprisoned.

August of 2023 saw Doak taken into custody in Osceola County.

He was apprehended, per the sheriff’s office, after making the trip from Davenport to a resort in Four Corners to engage in sexual activity with two girls he had been corresponding with on social media.

Inside the Westgate Vacation Villas facility, situated along Westgate Boulevard, where the victims were lodging, deputies discovered Doak.

The sheriff’s office stated that Doak entered the resort by jumping a privacy wall and parking off-site.

One of the girl’s parents informed the investigators that Doak was communicating with the victims, who were 14 and 13 years old, on social media.

Investigators claim that Doak was well aware of the victims’ ages when he sent them explicit and obscene texts, threatening to sexually abuse them.
