Two guys got into a fight at a Versailles Borough residence, which turned into a stabbing that left one man dead and two injured.
In a news release on Thursday, the Allegheny County Police Department stated that officers were dispatched to Worthington Street in Versailles at approximately 8 p.m. due to an incident.
First responders discovered a man on a duplex porch who had multiple stab wounds when they arrived. At the scene, he was declared deceased.
According to the police, they discovered a woman who had been beaten and another male who had been stabbed in the house next door. Both of them were transported in stable condition to nearby hospitals.
Authorities reported that they had conducted an investigation and discovered that prior to the fatal stabbing, the first victim and another man had argued.
According to the police, after yet another altercation, the man proceeded to the house next door and stabbed the other man and attacked the wife.
Afterwards, McKeesport Police Department officers apprehended the man as he drove away from the location. The individual is accused of fighting with police at the station. An officer and a K-9 were reported hurt by the police.

“At this time, detectives are working with the district attorney’s office to determine appropriate charges,” county police stated.
Both the victims and the suspect remain unidentified.
