LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — It has been a span of four years since the discovery of the body of Jenna Jacobsen, a 20-year-old woman, in a natural area located in Lantana.
Jenna Jacobsen was last seen in Lake Worth Beach on April 25, 2019, as per the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO). According to Jacobsen’s father, she had gone to Lake Worth Beach in search of drug treatment.
On May 30, 2019, deputies uncovered Jacobsen’s remains in a shallow grave along Southwinds Drive, just northeast of I-95 and Lantana Road.
Although the exact cause of Jacobsen’s death could not be determined by the medical examiner’s office, detectives are treating it as a homicide and actively investigating the case.
According to the sheriff’s office, Jacobsen was last seen with her boyfriend Zachary Davison in a back alleyway near the vicinity of South East Coast and 8th Avenue S.
At that time, Davison fled the area on foot but was apprehended and arrested on an outstanding warrant from New Jersey. Jacobsen was not arrested and this was the last sighting of her while she was still alive.
Even after four years, the sheriff’s office is persistently seeking any leads related to Jacobsen’s murder, and they strongly believe that someone out there possesses crucial information.
To encourage potential witnesses, Crime Stoppers has increased the reward to a maximum of $8,000 for any information that can help solve the murder of Jenna Jacobsen.
The PBSO urges anyone who has information to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477).
