An Indigenous woman who has been missing for several weeks is being sought after by family members and law enforcement. At approximately noon on September 5, Gabrielle Lund, 25, was last seen, as per the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to officials, she had come from South Dakota to Los Angeles to participate in a rehabilitation program.
Her last known location was in downtown Los Angeles at the Union Rescue Mission, 545 South San Pedro Street. After her loved ones failed to get in touch, authorities on Thursday, September 26 issued a Feather Alert.
Lund is characterized as a female that weighs about 160 pounds and is 5 feet 7 inches tall.
She was last seen with brown eyes and black hair, as well as black leggings and a black tank top.
According to the California Highway Patrol, law enforcement organizations are “investigating the suspicious or unexplainable disappearance of an Indigenous woman or Indigenous person” when they issue a Feather Alert.
