When he returned to work on Monday, the 7-Eleven employee who had been beaten by around 50 individuals early on Sunday morning while they ransacked the Anaheim location, said he had to go to work despite being shaken.
Based on information from the Anaheim Police Department, it happened at the convenience store in the 500 block of S. Knott Avenue at roughly 1:30 a.m.
Cops were on their way to the scene when they received reports of a robbery at the same spot, having previously learned of a street takeover at the intersection of Knott Avenue and Orange Avenue.
Despite this, the APD statement stated that it took cops a while to get to the business due to traffic from the sideshow, and by the time they got there, the suspects had left the area.
The mob can be seen storming the store, scaling counters, and toppling shelves in a video that went popular on social media. The cashier claimed that approximately $300 in cash, lottery tickets, cigarettes, and other items were taken.
When the suspects entered the business with rocks, the clerk sought to detain some of them with a broom in an attempt to stop them. A suspect is shown on camera holding back the shopkeeper to let the throng in while sporting a big rock and a gray hoodie.

On Monday morning, the clerk posted images of his bleeding nose from the assault and mentioned that he had been kicked in several areas of his body.
The proprietor of a local doughnut shop claimed that because thieves were breaking in to steal lottery tickets, he had to alter his business practices and cease selling them. “We do this for the family and our future … we just ask you to please stop doing this to us and any other 7-Eleven, to any donut shop.”
While police conduct their investigation, no information about any suspects connected to the incident is yet available.
