According to authorities, a pregnant lady was shot and murdered on Saturday at a Wawa in Collingdale, Pennsylvania.

An affidavit states that at around 7:20 p.m., Collingdale Police Department officers responded to a gunshot at the convenience store.

The pregnant victim, 32-year-old Latoya Davis, was found “laying on the ground in the side parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso,” the paper said, by a police investigator upon arrival. She passed away right there.

The affidavit said that Evelena Williams, another lady, admitted to investigators that she had shot the deceased fatally. In addition, the 30-year-old disclosed to the official that she was licensed to carry a gun.

Officials added that video footage of the incident showed Williams shooting at Davis as she attempted to flee.

According to the complaint, Williams admitted during questioning that she “fired one shot” at the victim before hiding the weapon—a Ruger.380 semiautomatic pistol—in her car.

A.380 cartridge casing was discovered in the parking area at the location, according to officials. Williams is charged with numerous offenses, including criminal homicide, first-degree and third-degree murder of unborn children, as well as first- and third-degree murder. This information is based on the affadavit.

Police claimed that an argument was the cause of the incident. It’s unclear what prompted the confrontation. Philadelphia is roughly 13 miles away from Collingdale.
