Southern Californians who might not be able to afford a full Thanksgiving feast this year or who don’t want to spend the holiday alone are receiving assistance from organizations and companies throughout the region.
What you should know is as follows:
On Thanksgiving Day, the ANE Foundation‘s ninth annual Skidrow Community Thanksgiving will provide free food, clothing, and toiletries. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will take place at 312 E. 5th St. in Los Angeles. You may read more about it here.
All EveryTable locations—aside from Cal State Long Beach and the Long Beach Airport—will provide a complimentary Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving Day.

On Thanksgiving Day, Westside Thanksgiving will serve a Thanksgiving meal and give away free groceries and clothing to the local population. From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the event will take place at 1645 Corinth Ave. in Los Angeles.
Everyone is welcome to the event.
On November 28, Thanksgiving meals will be available for pickup from Be Nice, Have Fun, a small business gift shop, starting at 10 a.m. until supplies run out. The event will be held in Los Angeles at 5011 York Blvd. Here is more information on the event.
On November 30, Christian Outreach in Action in Long Beach will provide a Thanksgiving dinner. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will take place at 515 E. 3rd St. in Long Beach.

The 23rd Annual Thanksgiving Day Feast of Caring will be held by the Men of Temple Beth Hillel. Valley Village residents can savor a traditional Thanksgiving feast at 12326 Riverside Drive on November 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You may read more about it here.
