Once again, it’s that wonderful time of year when the joy of the Christmas fills the air. The start of the holiday season in the Northeast has begun with the official opening of two Spirit Christmas stores in New York.
In October, it was revealed that there would be ten Spirit Christmas stores, three of which would be located in New York. But the business has subsequently changed its mind, and now there are just eight outlets overall, with just two opening in the Empire State.
Explore New York’s and Other Cities’ Magic of Spirit Christmas Stores
A third location in Albany was first mentioned, but it is no longer included on the Spirit Christmas website. Additionally, there are four locations in New Jersey and one each in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts in the Northeast.
New York’s two Spirit Christmas stores can be found at:
- 5181 Sunrise Highway, Sayville Plaza, Bohemia
- Chestnut Plaza, Poughkeepsie, 2020 South Road
Enter and lose yourself in the spirit of the holidays. You’ll find a fun selection of seasonal decorations, clothing, inflatables, presents, and stocking stuffers, according to a Spirit Christmas press release. You’ll come upon a life-sized gingerbread village as you explore, where you can:
- Send Santa a letter.
- Find out if you’ve been good or bad.
- Meet Santa himself and snap pictures with him.
Every visit will be a memorable part of your holiday celebrations thanks to these captivating features.

Store Hours
Are you going to the places in New York? According to the information on the website, you can visit Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., and on Sundays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Visit the store to meet Santa
Beginning on Friday, November 29, and lasting until Tuesday, December 24, Santa will make his enchanted visit.
Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. are when you can see him. Don’t pass up the few sessions that are offered on Christmas Eve.
