WPBN: A Texas YouTuber who kidnapped two women and took them on a crazy, fast-paced car ride on Interstate 10 is accused of aggravated kidnapping.
He threatened the women with a gun and started praying with them before dumping them off on their shoulder and telling them, “This is your only opportunity.”
According to his criminal complaint, Corey Pritchett Jr., 26, of Houston, is accused of escaping to Qatar following the alleged kidnapping event that took place on Nov. 24.
After a local neighbor spotted the women on the side of the road and dialed 911, deputies from the Waller County Sheriff’s Office located the victims next to a weigh station off I-10 in the Brookshire area.
Pritchett allegedly dumped the couple there after meeting them at a gym in the Houston area earlier in the day to work out. Pritchett has over 5 million subscribers on his two YouTube channels, @CoreySSG31 for his personal videos and @Pritchettfamily for family posts with his wife and two kids.
According to the complaint, before things took a bad turn, they also went on an ATV ride with some of his pals and spent some time at a nearby bowling alley.
“The complainants noticed that the defendant and his friends begin to act suspicious by constantly looking around and learned that they had an issue with another group that was at the bowling alley,” according to the complaint.
“Both complainants stated by this point they noticed there was a complete change in behavior in the defendant where he was not the same person as he was earlier that day,” as per the complaint. “The defendant then explains to both complainants that he believes someone is after him and that he is accused of setting someone’s car on fire.”
Pritchett allegedly drove “in the opposite direction” and got onto I-10 heading west toward San Antonio rather than driving the women home. It was said that he was driving too fast.

According to the lawsuit, “both complainants felt [Pritchett] was easily going over 100 mph.” Pritchett allegedly took a “gold colored handgun” from the center console while driving, started firing it, and waved it out the car’s sunroof. Pritchett allegedly ignored the women’s repeated requests to be transported home.
“Both complainants state that they try to calm the defendant by telling him to pray together in which he agrees to do so and leads the prayer but continues to drive westbound on I-10 at a big rate of speed,” according to the complaint.
According to authorities, Pritchett used “video chat” to call a female acquaintance while driving using the contact name “Future Wife.” He allegedly expressed interest in killing the two and disposing of their remains.

According to the complaint, Pritchett allegedly threatened to “f— y’all and then kill y’all” at one point before deciding against it and releasing the women. He allegedly dumped the women off on his shoulder while driving east on I-10 toward Houston.
The lawsuit cites a screenshot from one of the victim’s phones and states, “The defendant drove off leaving them on the highway alone at night at approximately 1:18 a.m.” “The complainants claimed that they attempted to flag down drivers while walking along the highway’s edge for about an hour.”
Pritchett is well-known on YouTube for sharing music, comedy, and family-friendly VLOGs. Since his arrest last week, he has posted on social media about his current circumstances and charges, being extremely outspoken about them.
