WPBN: Charles Jones, better known by his stage name “Julio Foolio,” is the fifth suspect related to the murder of a Jacksonville rapper that took place in Tampa. After being on the run for more than six months, Jones has been taken into jail.
At an apartment complex in Jacksonville, Davion Murphy, who is 27 years old, was taken into custody with the assistance of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s gang unit and the United States Marshals Service, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
He was taken into custody and placed in the Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Duval County.
Since the 23rd of June, when five suspects drove to Tampa to carry out a deadly gun shooting that was described as an ongoing gang war, Murphy has been wanted for questioning in connection with the death of the rapper who was 26 years old.
Isaiah Chance, 24, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Sean Gathright, 18, have all been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the crime. Rashad Murphy, 30, is the youngest of the four individuals.
The individuals that followed Jones as he traveled across Tampa to two different clubs in order to celebrate his birthday on June 22 have been referred to as the “lookouts,” and they consist of Chance and Andrews.
In the early morning hours of June 23, the rapper made his way to the Home2Suites, which is located close to the University of Southern Florida. There, surveillance video captured three individuals shooting at his vehicle in the parking lot, ultimately resulting in his death.
It was later determined that Gathright, Rashad Murphy, and Davion Murphy were the individuals accused of carrying out the shooting. It has been shown that Rashad Murphy and Chance are members of two distinct gangs, which are referred to as “ATK” and “1200.”
These two gangs are competitors of Jones’ group, which is known as “6 Block.”

Jones was well-known for his role in a deadly gang battle as well as his feuds with other artists within the music industry. His songs actually contained lyrics that were violent, and some of them were even about actual killings.
As far as the authorities are concerned, the conflict between 6 Block and ATK and 1200 has been going on for more than a decade, and it has resulted in scores of murders committed by both parties.
They are of the opinion that it was the cause of Jones’s death.
“Detectives believe that the ATK and the 1200 worked together to target Jones as part of an ongoing feud in Jacksonville,” Bercaw stated at the time of publication.
A post that Jones made on Instagram indicated that he was in Tampa, Florida, celebrating his birthday before to the shooting.
