Amber Alert in Effect: New Mexico Authorities Investigate Double Homicide, Child Injured

Two women were found dead in a park close to Clovis on Friday, and a 10-month-old baby was reported missing. As a result, the New Mexico police issued an Amber Alert.

Eleia Maria Torres, a newborn who is the daughter of one of the shooting victims, is thought to have been abducted by the offender at the time of the crime and is currently in danger, according to investigators. Eleia was 28 inches tall and 23 pounds in weight, according to the police. Her hair and eyes are both brown.

Eleia had an Amber alert in effect as of Saturday AM.

About 4:30 p.m. on Friday, someone reported finding two deceased ladies at Ned Houk Park, north of Clovis, New Mexico, prompting the call to the police. When responding officers discovered the victims with gunshot wounds on their bodies, they were lying next to a silver Dodge minivan, according to the police.

A young girl with a gunshot wound to the head was also discovered by the officers at the scene. The child was attended to by police until Emergency Medical Services showed up to transport him to a hospital. Regarding the girl’s condition, there was no immediate update.

The two women were identified as 23-year-old Samantha Cisneros and 23-year-old Taryn Allen. About ten miles east of Clovis, in Texico, New Mexico, were the origins of both females. At the site, the police discovered a car seat, bottle, and baby stroller.

According to investigators, Eleia is Cisneros’ daughter.
