Apopka Plaza Shocked by Discovery of Body Behind Dumpster, Police Investigate

APOPKA, Fla. — The Apopka Police Department has announced that they are looking for witnesses after the body of a lady was discovered behind a dumpster in that city.

On May 7, just before 9 o’clock in the evening, officers reported that they were summoned to the Wekiva Riverwalk Plaza, which is located at the intersection of E Semoran Boulevard and Wekiva Springs Road, in connection to the discovery of the death of a lady. The body of the woman was reportedly dumped off at the location, and the authorities believe that she most likely passed away in another location.

Later, the police made CCTV photographs of a person, shown above, that they said likely witnessed what took place available to the public and are requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying that person.

Customers in the plaza expressed their belief that it is critical for someone with knowledge to come forward.

“It was somebody’s life that was at stake. It was a human being who, at one point in time, belonged to a family and had parents. Just remember to factor that into your calculations. “Have some compassion, and give them a call,” a customer named Mark Hansen advised.

No information about the woman, including her age, has been made public at this time.

According to the officers, it does not appear that there is a continuing threat to the neighborhood.
