According to the Florida Highway Patrol, there was an accident involving a school bus in Marion County, which resulted in the hospitalization of four students.
The collision took place at approximately 3:06 o’clock on Friday afternoon.
According to the troopers, the school bus was heading west on County Road 464 and was getting close to SE 55th Place when the incident occurred.
According to a press statement, the flow of traffic came to an abrupt halt, and the driver, who was 62 years old, attempted to avoid colliding with the vehicles in front of them by moving into the grassy area.
The bus continued to drive on the grass until it overturned at some point.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that there were 18 children on the school bus at the time of the accident, and four of the children were transported to Advent Health of Ocala.
