Breaking News JSO Makes Quick Arrest in West 8th Street Robbery!

Earlier this evening, a robbery occurred in the 400 block of W 8th St in Jacksonville, and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that a suspect was caught after the perpetrator attacked a male victim with a glass bottle and stole jewelry and personal goods from him during the crime.

JSO reports that at around five o’clock in the evening, police responded to a complaint of a robbery in the 400 block of West 8th Street.

They discovered a man victim who had claimed being robbed by another guy they were familiar with upon their arrival.

During the course of the robbery, the suspect is said to have broken a glass bottle by hitting the victim in the head with a broken bottle. This is according to the version given by the victim.

After then, the suspect ran off with the victim’s jewelry and other personal belongings before leaving the area on foot. The offender was quickly taken into custody by the cops that responded to the call.

The person was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. The identify of the victim or their age have not been made public by the police.

The only weapon that was utilized during the heist was a glass bottle, as stated in the records filed by the police. The culprit made off with the jewelry and several other personal belongings belonging to the victim.
