Tennessee police say a man opened fire on a pizza delivery guy who had parked in the incorrect driveway while delivering the pizza.
There is a charge of aggravated assault against Ryan S. Babcock. An arrest warrant claims that Babcock fired seven shots at the Domino’s delivery driver.
Around 8 p.m., the driver, Caiden Wheeler, 18, of Nashville, informed WTVF, a CBS affiliate, that he delivered the package to a home on North Poole Street in Ashland City.
Wheeler informed the outlet that he had unintentionally stopped in the incorrect driveway, delivered the pizza to the right residence, and then resumed driving the truck. Babcock is said to have run at him at that point and started shooting. Wheeler’s pickup was hit by three of the seven bullets, according to the affidavit.
Wheeler stated he thought Babcock ought to be charged with more serious offenses. “So, I was literally going to be killed right there,” Wheeler said to the publication. “It is attempted murder in my opinion.”
According to the report, the gunshot was caught on a Ring camera, and all seven shell casings were found by the police.

“I understand keeping your firearm, trying to be protective … protect your family, but I don’t think you should automatically shoot at someone because they pulled in. I don’t think that’s right,” Wheeler stated.
Babcock reportedly told police that he suspected someone was trying to break into his car after seeing a truck in his driveway on his Ring security video.
According to the affidavit, Babcock claimed he took his 9 mm handgun, raced outside, and started shooting in an attempt to disable the truck.
“I do believe there is — if you have reasonable cause — sometimes you got to do what you got to do, but in certain cases like this, I don’t think that was a reasonable cause and therefore I don’t agree with it,” Wheeler stated.
Since then, Babcock has been released from custody on a bond, and his next court date is June 12.
