Desperate Search Ojai Family Seeks Missing Daughter with Autism

The 21-year-old daughter of an Ojai family, who vanished more than three weeks ago, needs assistance finding her. The daughter has autism.

“I am thinking about her every day, every night, every minute,” father Gabriel Valora stated. “I won’t stop looking for you.”

Zyanya Valora vanished from her family after climbing out of her bedroom window a little more than three weeks ago.

“After seven days of looking for her, they stopped operations,” mother Damaris Dac stated. “We are now on the third week, and we don’t have any clue of where she is at.”

Zyanya’s cell phone was last pinging at a local Airbnb the morning before she vanished, according to her parents. She has brown eyes, black shoulder-length hair, a mole beneath her nose, and weighs about 90 pounds. She is approximately five feet tall.

Zyanya was wearing black boxer shorts and a white tank top when her parents last saw her. Since all of her shoes are still in her closet, her parents believe she is barefoot.

“I wanted to let her know we are still looking for her,” her father stated.Ā

Despite being heartbroken, Gabriel keeps texting his daughter in the hopes that she will reply.

“Yesterday, I told her I was looking for her, for hours. Near the beach, near the railroad tracks,” he stated.

“Somebody knows something and we just follow that lead,” Dac stated. “That is the hope every day that we find something that can lead us to her.”

Zyanya may not speak, but according to her parents, she is vocal. They want anyone who spots her to hold her attention long enough for them to call for assistance.

“She loves animals and Taylor Swift,” her mother stated. “She is not going to answer, probably, but she will keep listening.”

A mother is pleading with total strangers to assist in getting her daughter back home.

“We love her, and we miss her really, really much, and we want her back,” Dac stated.Ā

Gabriel never gives up on his little girl, no matter what.

“I am always trying to think how I can help you,” he stated. “If you are being held against your will, I just want you to know that I love you, and I will keep looking for you.”
