A double murder that rocked a Baltimore County town more than 40 years ago has never resulted in an arrest. Joe Magaskie and his wife Toby Magaskie were viciously attacked inside their Dundalk home on Eder Road on July 22, 1983.

According to the couple’s niece, they are determined to pursue justice no matter what.

“I would love for somebody to come forward with anything and just give us peace,” Tiffany Chalmers stated.

Chalmers added that no one has acknowledged seeing or knowing anything about her uncle and aunt’s murder, despite the fact that their killings took place during the day. Chalmers stated that the pair was attacked right after her aunt returned from the grocery shop.

When the Magaskies’ neighbor went to check on them, she discovered the couple dead from stabbing on their bathroom floor. There are still many unsolved questions and no suspect as of right now.

“I just remember my mother, it being totally devastating and heartbreaking for her,” Chalmers stated. “It was gut-wrenching.”
