According to authorities, a fifth person was taken into custody on Wednesday in relation to the deaths of two mothers in Oklahoma.
According to a press release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Paul Grice, 31, was taken into custody and charged with two charges of first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of conspiracy to conduct first-degree murder. He was also put into the Texas County Jail.
On March 30, Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, vanished from sight while traveling from Kansas to retrieve Butler’s kids from a birthday celebration in neighboring Oklahoma.
After they were last seen together in a car that was later discovered abandoned beside the roadway in a rural area of Texas County, their remains were discovered on April 14.
In relation to the killings of the women, four people had already been taken into custody and charged with murder.
According to the agency, Tad Bert Cullum, 43, Tifany Machel Adams, 54, Cole Earl Twombly, 50, and Cora Twombly, 44, were all taken into custody on April 14.
Butler’s children’s mother, and the two got into a custody dispute. The affidavit said that Callum and Adams were romantically involved.

Authorities claim that all five of the accused are members of “God’s Misfits,” an anti-government group that met frequently at the Twomblys’ house and other places.
A young witness who cooperated with authorities claimed that the group had attempted to kill Butler previously and that they were accountable for the killings, as stated in the affidavit.
Last Monday, a judge denied release to all four suspects and entered not guilty pleas for them.
The deceased’s relatives showed up at the courthouse to confront the people who are suspected of killing Butler and Kelley. As stated by his younger brother, Bryson Butler, to CBS affiliate KFDA, he hopes that “justice is served.”
“How can you hate somebody so much that you want to kill them? How can you hate the mother of your grandchildren so much that you want to end her life?” Butler’s aunt disclosed.
