Florida Woman in Custody After Stabbing Circle K Employee

A 19-year-old woman from Florida was arrested on Tuesday following a deadly stabbing of a Circle K clerk during a confrontation.

As per the Altamonte Springs Police Department, on December 19, 2023, at around 10:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to the emergency room at AdventHealth Altamonte in response to a report of an adult female who had been stabbed.

The victim, identified as 21-year-old Lakeira Hall, was later pronounced dead at the hospital due to her injuries.

Detectives determined that Hall and the suspect, 19-year-old Leanna Ramnarine, had a dispute at the Circle K located at 109 E Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs.

Using a knife, Ramnarine stabbed Hall multiple times. Hall was taken to the hospital by a friend who was present during the altercation and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Ramnarine was apprehended today and is now in custody at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility with no bond. She is facing a charge of Second-Degree Murder.
