From a scratch-off ticket purchased at a petrol station, a Florida woman won $1 million.

The Florida Lottery declared on Wednesday that Rema Shaban, 47, of St. Augustine, had won the $1,000,000 a Year for Life game. Shaban opted to accept the $640,000 payment in one flat sum.

As per the Florida Lottery, Shed purchased her ticket from a RaceTrac petrol station located on Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville. For selling the winning ticket, the company received a $2,000 additional commission.

It costs $50 to play the game “$1,000,000 a Year for Life.” 234 players will win a one-time $1 million award, and two winners will share in the $1 million for life grand prize.

The Florida Lottery claims that there are additional $1.6 billion in cash rewards in this game. There is a 1-in-4.50 chance of winning overall.
