An ongoing investigation is currently taking place in Broward County, which resulted in a significant police presence on Thursday afternoon.

According to law enforcement, officers discovered a vehicle described as being involved in a felony.

This vehicle was later revealed to be connected to a stolen vehicle inquiry conducted by the Plantation Police Department, as well as a kidnapping investigation by the Miami Police Department.

Around 3:30 p.m., officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the 3100 block of Davie Boulevard. However, the vehicle accelerated and a pursuit ensued.

The chase ultimately concluded when the vehicle collided with another car in the vicinity of Southwest 3rd Street and 27th Terrace.

Surveillance footage captured the collision, after which the suspect vehicle came to a halt as it crashed into the side of a residence.

Following the crash, four suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee but were all apprehended by the police.

All four suspects, along with the driver of the second vehicle, were transported to Broward Health North by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue for evaluation of their non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities did not disclose whether any individuals were in custody or the specific crime to which the vehicle was linked.
