Following several armed robberies that occurred overnight in Renton and Tukwila, four youths were placed under arrest.
Three male teenagers, ages thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen, are accused of robbing a petrol station and two convenience stores. They then led police on a car chase in a stolen vehicle, which concluded in Pierce County. They were placed under investigation for first-degree robbery at the King County Juvenile Detention Center.
On the evening of July 17, Tukwila police responded to an armed robbery at a petrol station in the 13100 block of Interurban Avenue South. Before the cops could arrive, they ran away.
They are accused of robbing a convenience store in the 600 block of Strander Boulevard shortly after.
On Thursday, July 18, just after two in the morning, Renton police were called to the 400 block of Sunset Boulevard North in reference to a convenience store robbery.
Police claim that audio and video from security cameras depict one of the teenagers brandishing a gun and pointing it repeatedly at a store employee while the other teens pilfer cash and e-cigarettes.

The youngsters then drove off in what seemed to be a stolen car.
Police discovered throughout their investigation that the four teenagers involved fit the descriptions of the robberies that had occurred in Tukwila.
After spotting the suspects in Burien, King County deputies initiated a pursuit. The suspects guided deputies to the Pierce County city of Lakewood while traveling south on Interstate 5.
Using the PIT method, Lakewood police were able to halt the vehicle and apprehend the perpetrators. The inquiry is being led primarily by the Renton Police Department.
