From Ocala to Jacksonville: Methamphetamine Dealer Receives Sentence for Local Deals

On September 29, 2023, Devan Franklin Hall, 33, of Jacksonville, entered a guilty plea to the charge of conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of pure methamphetamine. As a result, he was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.

Between 2022 and 2023, a drug trafficking network in the Jacksonville area was the subject of an investigation by FBI and HSI special agents.

In 2022, agents made repeated controlled purchases of methamphetamine from an acquaintance of Hall’s in Jacksonville.

After being recognized as the source, Hall was observed making his way to Ocala and then meeting with his buddy. It was determined by investigations that Hall obtained the methamphetamine in Ocala and supplied it to Jacksonville.

Hall gave his associate 150–500 grams of methamphetamine between April and June of 2023.

Upon executing a search warrant at Hall’s residence on July 26, 2023, numerous guns and more than $2,000 in narcotics earnings were found.
