CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — Funeral arrangements have been announced for three boys who tragically lost their lives in a shooting incident in Ohio.
The boys, identified as Clayton (7 years old), Hunter (4 years old), and Chase (3 years old), were found deceased at their home in Clermont County on June 16. The father, Chad Doerman, has been accused of lining them up and fatally shooting them in an execution-style manner.
The funeral home has organized a visitation for the boys, which will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday. Following the visitation, a celebration of life will be held at 8 p.m.
Both events will occur at the First Baptist Church of Glen Este in Batavia. The family has requested the community’s presence at the visitation and has encouraged attendees to wear bright colors to honor and celebrate the boys’ lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the New Richmond Youth Sports Association. These contributions will be utilized to enhance the fields in honor of the boys and the joyful memories they shared through their involvement in the association.
The boys’ baseball coaches have expressed their desire to reminisce about the positive and enjoyable moments they had with the children, emphasizing their vibrant personalities and the fun they brought to the field. Many of these cherished memories revolve around games and practices at the fields behind Monroe Elementary School, where the oldest boy attended.
Coach Dwayne Kuhn spoke highly of the boys, describing them as incredibly kind and loving siblings who had a wonderful bond. He emphasized their playful nature and their dedication on the baseball field, highlighting their remarkable qualities as individuals.
Chad Doerman has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder and appeared in court on June 16. During the proceedings, he displayed emotions of grief as the charges were presented. Prosecutors requested a bond of $20 million, which is said to be the highest bond ever set in Clermont County.
