On Monday, the names of the first four citizens of Massachusetts who won all-inclusive trips to California through “Game of Thrones” lottery tickets were revealed.

On August 6, the well-liked $5 scratch ticket with a fantasy theme went on sale. In addition to other smaller prizes, players can win a trip for two to Napa Valley, California in the fall of 2025, as well as a $500,000 grand prize.

When on the West Coast, trip winners will also have the opportunity to take part in an event called “The Seven Kingdoms Experience” with the chance to win a shared reward worth anywhere from $25,000 to $7 million.

The first four trip winners are listed as follows:

  • Eugene Scurio of Lynn
  • Joseph Tully of Medford
  • David Cognac of Dracut
  • Patricia Katz of Arlington

Furthermore, during the drawing, Carver resident Robert Clark won $10,000, while 22 other winners took home $500 and 75 others scored $100. The Massachusetts Lottery’s “Game of Thrones” drawings page lists their names and hometowns. There will be four additional Second Chance draws in the future.

Players participate Second Chance Drawings with their non-winning scratch tickets in order to be eligible to win the California vacation.

There will be four trip winners named after each round of the five drawings that will take place, along with additional chances to win one $10,000 prize and twenty-two $500 prizes in each drawing.

The complete vacation package consists of two people’s round-way flights, hotel transfers from the airport, and a welcome reception. The winners will stay one night at a San Francisco hotel of four stars or higher and three nights in a Napa hotel of four stars or better.

Together with the above Seven Kingdoms Experience to win even more prize money, they will also receive $1,000 in spending money, access to the Napa Wine Train, specially-curated tours and activities around Napa Valley, and spending money.
