Due to recent approval from the Food Stamp office, some SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) users will receive their first monthly payment in November.
You should be aware that the 2025 COLA rise is included in the existing maximum amounts if you find yourself in this circumstance.
According to the CBPP, the average person can receive $199. However, following the COLA rise, the maximum will be $292. Unfortunately, following the cost-of-living increase, SNAP recipients will only receive an additional $1.

SNAP eligibility requirements for November food stamps
In November, only citizens who fulfill all requirements are eligible to receive SNAP benefits. You may even be eligible for Food Stamps in November if you meet the requirements for accelerated benefits, but that means you have virtually no income and very little cash on hand.
SNAP’s general requirements are related to your resources, which can total up to $3,000 in countable resources. The upper limit may be as much as $4,500 for elderly and those with disabilities.
Requirements for work and money are also necessary. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 54 are required to work a minimum of 80 hours each month, unless they are exempt.
