One person was murdered and six more injured in three separate shootings that took place over the course of 45 minutes in the Big Apple, according to authorities. It was a deadly night.
Authorities claimed that at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, four males were shot, one of whom died, at a baby shower located at 108-11 Atlantic Ave. in Richmond Hill, Queens.
According to the police, three victims were shot: one male, 24, was fatally injured in the chest; another, 45, was shot once in the left leg; and a third, 26, was shot in the right arm.
The other two patients, at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, were listed in stable condition, but the 24-year-old was declared dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
According to investigators, a 43-year-old male who was the fourth victim arrived at Jamaica Hospital through private means. He had two gunshot wounds to his right arm and one to his left leg, and his status was stable.
The NYPD stated that no one has been arrested and that the investigation remains ongoing.

A quarter of an hour later, at approximately 1:40 a.m., a 25-year-old male was shot in the head outside 199-23 Linden Blvd., which is close to 200th Street in Jamaica, according to the police.
At Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, the victim’s condition is critical. Arrests have not taken place.
A 34-year-old male was struck in the right elbow and a 47-year-old guy was shot in the stomach at 15 Albany Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, just after one in the morning on Saturday, according to police.
Two individuals who rode off on bikes and headed toward Fulton Street are wanted by the police.
“It’s unknown what what led to this or what the the motive was or if these two men were the intended targets,” an NYPD spokesman stated.
