The Ruidoso Police Department reports that Robert Walker, 66, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder, evidence tampering, careless firearm use, and possession of a controlled narcotic.

Ruidoso Police were called to 109 Mustang Drive at approximately five in the morning on Wednesday, July 10.
