Because of her odd behavior during her birthday celebration, a woman from Orange County in Florida is in danger of trial.

An allegation has been made that Madison Stephan, a former worker of the animal attraction Croc Encounters located in Tampa, ‘stolen’ an alligator for the sake of a picture.

During her stay of five days, she moved this alligator to the Grove Resort and Water Park in Winter Garden, where it was given the name Smiley by the staff there.

It was rumored that Stephan kept Smiley in a bathtub filled with ice-cold water, putting the creature’s wellbeing in jeopardy.

Once it was determined that the situation was not normal, the relevant authorities were informed.

Almost immediately after that, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) got engaged in the situation.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission discovered that Smiley had been forced to submerge himself in a bathtub.

However, they were quick to deliver the alligator back to Croc Encounters after they had finished with it. According to the latest reports, the reptile appears to be making a full recovery from this trauma.
