The following states will start providing SNAP benefits on July 4th in the USA: Alabama, Arkansas, Maryland, Minnesota, and Mississippi, according to USDA and the Food and Nutrition Service.

Qualifications for October 4 SNAP benefits in Alabama and Arkansas

Food Stamps will be sent by Alabama from October 4 until October 23. You must look up the final two digits of your SNAP case number to find out when your payment is due.

Your payment will appear on your EBT card on October 4 if, for instance, your case number ends in 00-04.

Arkansas will begin sending food stamps on October 4 in addition to Alabama. But only through October 13 will the State of Arkansas continue to provide SNAP benefits.

You should also verify your Social Security Number (SSN). You are eligible for food stamps on October 4 if your SSN ends in 0 or 1.

Following the COLA rise in 2025, the highest amount that a person may receive is $292. A family of four may be eligible for up to $975, while a family of eight may be eligible for up to $1,756. In the 48 contiguous States, these maximum amounts are the same.

Eligibility for Maryland, Minnesota, and Mississippi SNAP assistance payments on October 4

Payments for SNAP benefits will be made by Maryland from October 4 through October 23. USDA claims this state uses the first three letters of your last name. Your food stamps will be sent on October 4 if, for instance, the first three letters of your last name fall between AAA and BAO.

People who reside in Minnesota should check their case number. On October 4, if it finishes in a 4, your EBT card will contain your food stamps. On the tenth, it will be 0 if it finishes in 1.

And lastly, Mississippi’s SNAP payouts. Checks will only be sent until October 21, 2024, even if they likewise begin on October 4. According to USDA, you must look at the final two numbers in your case.

On October 4, money will be given to those whose last digits are 00-04.
