After being accused of stealing from the organization that provides Meals on Wheels, a Jasper lady was placed under arrest.
The Jasper County Committee on Aging’s executive director was Adrienna Hudson, 57. This is the organization that provides senior adults with food delivery services through Meals on Wheels.
Hudson was taken into custody following claims that she used the organization’s credit cards to make unauthorized purchases totaling more than $16,000.
The head of the Jasper County Committee on Aging, Keith Daniels, reported that the board discovered during a recent audit that there had been unapproved withdrawals made from the individual’s Southside Bank account.
Daniels reports that 58 unauthorized ATM withdrawals totaling $16,325 were made from the account. Meals are supplemented by the account and used for other products.

Investigators were able to identify Hudson as the recipient of the illegal withdrawals by using the final four digits of the card that was used. She faces ten counts of credit card abuse in her indictment. On July 11th, the indictments were presented.
