Police in Las Vegas are looking for a suspect after a man was shot on Monday night close to Boulder Highway.
Police report that the incident took place in the 4300 block of Boulder Highway, close to Desert Inn Road, around 7:07 p.m.
A caller reported that there was a gunshot in an apartment building. A woman met the police outside the residence and said that her ex-boyfriend had been shot.
The man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was treated by officers until emergency medical help arrived. After being brought to Sunrise Hospital, he passed away.
Lt. Jason Johansson of the Homicide Section of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that the woman informed the officers that she continued to see her ex-boyfriend, who would visit to look after their child.
She also admitted to the cops that she and her current partner share the apartment. Before the altercation turned violent, the two men were arguing. According to Johansson, that’s when the present boyfriend shot the ex-boyfriend with a gun.
