When Hawaii will get its final and subsequent SNAP payment of up to $3,102 in October has been verified by the US Department of Agriculture. The payment amounts for this State are greater than those for the District of Columbia and the 48 contiguous States.
Hawaii’s greater inflation rate is the reason behind this. For your knowledge, Hawaii recently had a decrease in COLA.
SNAP beneficiaries in Hawaii will get less money for the maximum payment amounts, despite an increase in maximum payments for the other States and territories.
Hawaii’s subsequent SNAP benefit
The USDA reports that on October 5, Hawaii will send the next Food Stamp payment of up to $3,102. On different days, money is deposited onto each recipient’s EBT card.
In fact, as of October 3, some Hawaii SNAP participants had already gotten their Food Stamps.
Hawaii will pay beneficiaries of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program whose last name begins with the following letter the following benefit payment:
- First letter of their last name is J-Z: Food Stamps due on October 5th
- First letter of their last name is A-I: SNAP payout on November 3rd
