Following a mass shooting at a nightclub early on Saturday morning that left one man dead and seven others injured, investigators in Louisville, Kentucky, said they were searching for a suspect and any relevant information.
First responders found a guy suffering from gunshot wounds when they got at the scene, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers had received a report about gunshots outside the lounge H20 at 12:47 a.m. EMS later declared the unnamed male dead at the site, according to police.
According to the LMPD, “with injuries that are believed to be critical and life-threatening,” a second victim who has not yet been named was sent to University Hospital.

Investigators discovered later in the morning that six other shooting victims, who had injuries that were not life-threatening, had driven themselves to nearby hospitals, according to police.
It took some time to find out how the victims were related. The inquiry is still ongoing.
