The objective of the 52-card deck casino table game, which is a cross between American poker and the Chinese game Pai Gow, is to arrange seven cards into two hands—a five-card hand and a two-card hand—that rank higher than the dealer’s two hands.

According to the regulations published by California’s Bureau of Gaming Control, “a player that wagers at least a $5 Fortune Bonus Bet qualifies for an Envy Bonus prize” in Fortune Pai Gow, a bonus bet component has been added to the game.
