Indiana has received notice from a company that offers risk management, security services, and assistance to corporate and government clients about its intention to remove 123 positions.
Green Berets, Rangers, SEALs, MARSOC Raiders, other special operations soldiers, and a number of law enforcement officers work for Triple Canopy, a division of Constellis Group, which employs a number of former Army Special Operations personnel. There were more than 5,000 workers at Triple Canopy at the time of the marriage.
The organization explains the layoffs by pointing to the termination of its Federal Protective Service contract, which covered security services on federal lands.
Employees in the impacted locations will no longer be employed as of September 30, 2024, said the notice filed with the state.
It is anticipated that this will be a permanent separation of employment, and employees will not be able to transfer to another position. As required by state law, employees will be paid through their last day of work.
