Miami-Dade Triple Shooting Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

On Tuesday, a shooting occurred at NW 64th Street and NW 18th Avenue, leaving three people injured, as reported by Miami-Dade police on Wednesday.

Kelvin Jackson, 36, and Christopher Green, 36, both from Miami, have been arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder and firearm possession by a convicted felon, according to police. It’s unclear if they have been granted bail.

The injured parties, identified as Andrew Days, 27, and Delonyte Gause, 30, both from Miami, were transported to Ryder Trauma Center to receive treatment for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

Later on, Gause was also taken into custody for being a convicted criminal in possession of a handgun.

According to investigators, an SUV traveling south on NW 18th Avenue turned onto NW 64th Street and fired at a group of people on the corner. Someone from the group fired back, hitting three individuals in the SUV.

The motive behind the gunfire has not been disclosed by investigators.
