After Miami police claimed that he threatened to post his ex-girlfriend’s naked pictures on social media if she didn’t comply with his demand for new clothes, the guy is now being charged with two crimes.
Keon Torrell Ponton Jr., 19, of Miramar, is being charged with both misdemeanor sexual cyberharrassment and second-degree felony extortion. On Wednesday, he was taken into custody by Miami police.
An arrest report states that Ponton and the victim had dated for approximately three years, ending their relationship approximately eight months before Ponton’s arrest.
The Liberty City resident went to a Miami police substation on Monday, according to the authorities, to report what had occurred to her.
According to the report, Ponton sent screenshots of her in her underwear that he had posted on a group chat to the woman after texting her and demanding that she purchase him new clothes.
