On July 29, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a shooting incident took place in the parking lot of a Publix located at 11000 Pembroke Rd in Miramar. The Miramar Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify a person of interest involved in the investigation.
In a Twitter post timestamped at 2:57 p.m. today, the Miramar Police posted a couple of photos of the individual they consider a person of interest in connection with the shooting. Their exact words were, “The pictured male is a person of interest in a shooting that occurred on 7/29/23.”
The extent of this individual’s involvement in the case and whether others were involved remains unclear at this time.
The Twitter post includes the case number, the name of the detective in charge, and additional contact information for those with relevant information. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. However, the tweet does not provide further details on the case or the offered reward.
